Private Bass Guitar Lessons
If you live in close proximity to Hays, Kansas, or are willing to travel, you can now study with me in live, one-on-one private bass lessons. All you need to bring is yourself and your bass. I teach 4, 5, and 6-string fretted and fretless electric bass guitar. These lessons are structured for bassists of all levels from beginner to advanced and all styles of traditional and contemporary music including jazz, fusion, funk, blues, classical, rock, pop, motown, latin, and country.
Private bass lessons are the preferred method for demonstrating any technique-based lesson material including the proper mechanics of right and left hand technique as well as slapping and tapping techniques. Other subject areas that we may cover in our private lessons include:

Students are now being accepted on a limited basis. Unless scheduled otherwise, each private bass lesson is one hour in length. All lesson materials including standard notation, mp3 play-alongs, and video clips will be provided. In addition, our lessons can be video taped for you to use as a reference guide in the future for a small fee.
